Evolution of ionospheric plasma flows observed by the King Salmon HF radar.

Hori_JGR2012_SI_flow_evolution.PNG

Evolution of ionospheric plasma flows associated with a negative sudden impulse (SI) observed by the King Salmon HF radar. With the SI signature recorded by ground magnetometers, an eastward flow channel (colored light-green in the figure) moves poleward.
